aCOLyte provides a solution for basic bacterial enumeration on standard 100 mm Petri plates. aCOLyte’s software utilizes a simple interface which provides count information, taking into account dilution factor, separation of coinciding colonies and background correction for different media. aCOLyte features single-button operation-just one click counts the entire plate; counts are displayed instantly next to a full-color plate image and adjustable sensitivity setting for optimal colony detection. aCOLyte is connected to a PC via a standard USB cable.
